A Toronto family called us about exterior railings after their large, beautiful brick home was gutted by a fire. Thankfully, the family had been away at the time of the fire, but they were devastated by their loss, and wondered how they would ever come back from it. After affirming that the house was still structurally sound, they opted to return their home to its former glory, and they needed several types of railings to complete the project, including three different exterior railings. Recently, we had the chance to meet a Toronto contractor who needed wood railings for a very unique project. This gentleman specialized in what he called “recreational construction.” He explained that he built backyard play structures for children and grown-ups alike.
